Today was a jam-packed day of activities. We met up early in the morning for dogsledding excursion. In times like this, I really appreciate my abundance of technical clothing (light, practical, warm, and stylish!). My winter running tights kept me warm even when the fleet of dogs were running at high speed. The huskies used by the team are mix breed huskies. They were just so friendly! Thanks to AL's family dog Momo, I've been "cured" of my dogphobia so I got to play and hug the dogs. We took a break in the middle of the trip to enjoy a cup of freshly-brewed campfire coffee and some cinnamon swirls. I was totally in my element with the snow and wind of the Arctic Circle.
