As an adult skater and a relative newcomer to the sport, I have been blogging about my inline skating experience since 2006 through Dream Chaser On Wheels. I am a strong supporter of skating events in North America. In 2008, I raced in 7 marathons, 1 half marathon, 7 indoor and outdoor track races including Provincials and Nationals, as well as skating event such as Great EsSkate in Miami. On many different occasions, I've met new skating friends who told me how much they enjoy following my progress and relating my experience to their own training. There are many adult skaters who are passionate about inline speed skating. I believe that by sharing my story, we can all strive to become better skaters through hard work and a positive attitude.
