Holiday Cookies Fundraiser 2008

Holiday season is upon us soon so that means the sweet smell of sugar and spice is in the air! There's just something special about this time of year that makes me want to bite into some tender yummy cookies in various flavours and shapes. If you agree, I invite you to do the same by supporting Dessert By Candy's annual Holiday Cookies Fundraiser! Can you decide between a morsel of fudgy chocolatey brownie or a piece of buttery shortbread studded with fruit & nuts? Now that's what I call a delicious dilemma!

This year, I am fundraising for an all-female inline skating team to compete in the 24hr Inline Montreal Relay Race in 2009. Each team can comprise of up to 10 skaters and the goal is to complete as many laps as we can within 24 hours on the Gilles-Villeneuve Formula-1 racetrack in Parc Jean-Drapeau on Notre-Dame Island. Proceeds from the fundraiser will go toward the team's registration fee and team uniform.

Cookie Assortment

A delicious and gorgeous gift idea! The cookie assortment contains 15 pieces of individually packaged buttery cookies made with high quality ingredients, ready for gift giving. Vegan Cookie Assortment

New this year! Many of my friends are vegan so I decide to offer a vegan option this year. This 15 pieces cookie assortment is just as tasty and pretty, only without the use of any animal products. My tasters (omnivores and vegans alike) can attest to the delicious-ness of these cookies! 

Some sample selection includes:

• walnut chocolate chips cookies
• pumpkin oatmeal raisin cookies
• pecan brownies
• gingerbread cookies

Each box of cookie assortment is $15.

Single Selection

Looking for a special dessert for your party or you're just really really craving for a batch of brownies? The following single selection dessert may just be the answer!

Pecan Brownies: 12 pieces of rich chocolatey pecan goodness. $15

Espresso Chocolate Chips Walnut Cookies: 24 soft chewy cookies loaded with chocolate chips and toasted walnut pieces with a hint of espresso. $20

Vegan Pecan Brownies: So sinfully delicious you wouldn't believe they are vegan. 12 pieces. $15

Vegan Chocolate Chips Walnut Cookies: These cakey homestyle cookies are equally perfect for snacking at tea time or for Santa Claus! 24 pieces. $20

If you know me personally and I see you on a regular basis, we can arrange for an alternative pick up time and location between Dec 14, 2008 to Dec 20, 2008. If you will not be in the Greater Toronto Area during this time, contact me and let's see if we can work out an arrangement.
