You just sold me on that cake. It's one that I initially shrugged off when reading through Ready For Dessert, because I'm not a huge coconut fan. That looks too good not to try, though.

I happen to have Lebovitz's Polenta Cake with Olive Oil and Rosemary baking right now. I found out about National Bundt Day on NBundtDay, so I couldn't bake one in time, but looking at everyone's pictures made me antsy to test out my new bundt pan. Bahamian Rum Cake may be next.

The caramel-coconut glaze looks heavenly! What a delicious looking cake indeed!! It also looks very pretty on the pink dolly. :)

Those doilies are super cute! And the bundt cake looks fantastic, of course!

While not a true bundt cake (I tend to bake it in a bundt pan anyway), I love Anna Olson's lemon pound cake. I love how the glaze makes a crispy sugary outside while the inside cake is moist and dense!

Wow, that looks so good! I'm going to have to go buy a bundt pan now just to make one of those. My favorite is a yogurt cake that turns out best when made in a bundt pan. Lemon rind in the cake, and homemade blueberry lemon preserves on top of the cooled cake.

    Looks delish!

Dangerously delicious looking! Great job Candy! I had to stop myself from licking the screen. What a nifty doily too!

That is one beautiful cake - love the pan that you used to cook it in.
An old family friend used to make a chocolate bundt cake with a peanut/ caramel topping. It only came out on special occasions; I wish I could track her (cake) down. May need to experiment soon.

OMG! This is right up my alley~! I have that cookbook, too! I would love this cake & all it's flavors! My favorite bundt cake is this chocolate kahlua one from Lizzy: http://thatskinnychickcanbake.blogspot.com/2010/06/kahlua-cake.html

Mmmmm, gorgeous cake! And rum + coconut milk....YUM! :)
