    Your crust looks simply fantastic! I love the berries and juice oozing out.

    Thanks yummychunklet! It only looked like the juice was oozing out. In fact, it maintained like this during the entire time I was taking the photos. Right on the threshold!

    The question is though, are you able to duplicate this method? Do you know why the butter oozed out to begin with? I'd be curious as to why. I think I hear my oven calling my name now; it's been a while since I last baked a pie. Btw, I like your storytellings; they always make me read up until the very end!

    I am still waging an ongoing war against pie crust, I dream of the day that mine will turn out as perfectly as yours. Your pie is quite literally, picture perfect!
