Candy, you are a culinary genius! These look so beautiful and I'm sure they taste perfect. Coincidently, this year my baking goal is to learn how to make frosted cupcakes appropriate for entertaining. If you have a fool-proof cupcake recipe (my first batch turned out quite dense), please let me know!

    Cheers,

Hi Jackie, my personal preference for cupcake is to turn to my favourite pound cake recipe. Pound cake and its variants yield nice tight crumb with beautiful uniform domed cake which I prefer for frosting purposes. There really isn't any fool-proof cupcake recipe so to speak. It comes down to what you prefer.

    Hi Candy,

I love the cupcakes!! They are beauitful..do you have a recipe so that I can make them this weekend?

It was a long time ago since I made those cupcakes. I believe the cake recipe comes from chocolate pound cake (quatre-quarts au chocolat) in Dorie Greenspan's Paris Sweets. The frosting recipe comes from White Chocolate Cream Cheese Buttercream in Rose Levy Beranbaum's The Cake Bible.

THANK YOU THANK YOU..AND MANY BLESSINGS YOUR WAY!! Happy Easter!
