L invited me to go to Amuse-Bouche Restaurant and put me in charge of making reservations. I called the restaurant today knowing that it is closed on Mondays. They returned my call this evening to confirm my reservation. So, the five of us are set to go next Wednesday. It will be the day before my birthday so I'm super thrilled about it.
T and I recently saw matsutake (pine mushroom) at J-Town. I can't believe it is already autumn so soon. T suggested that he would like to take me to Hashimoto for a kaiseki dinner with dishes made with matsutake. Mmm, I really look forward to it!
I am thankful for being so loved by my friends and family. So what if one guy doesn't realize what a great gal he misses out on? It's definitely his loss (I'm still smart, I'm still pretty, I'm still full of joie de vivre. If I repeat this often enough, perhaps I'll forget to feel sad and hurt).
